The Colorado Dickens Carolers are led by Roxanne Lingle and are the original professional caroling group performing in the Colorado Springs and Front Range region for over 23 years.  The Carolers are made up of groups of 3 or 4 professional vocal musicians dressed in rich Victorian era costumes.  All the vocalists are from Colorado Springs who love bringing the spirit of Christmas to our own community.  

 

It was in the mid-1800's England that Charles Dickens wrote the beloved story A Christmas Carol, and when joyful Christmas chorus' were common for both casual gatherings of family and friends and more formal holiday occasions. Keeping this tradition alive, we sing all of our songs "a capella".  Many of the carols we sing were written or revised during the Victorian era.

 

Having been featured in various local newspaper, radio and TV stories over the years, the Colorado Dickens Carolers are something of a Colorado Christmas tradition.
